  • We’ve seen talented young composers rise to prominence, whilst many veterans have continued to dazzle with their mastery of the craft. There’s been all sorts of experimentation and genre-blending; and, not to be overlooked, music supervisors have outdone themselves in licensing killer tracks from megastar and minnow artists alike.

    This is a personal, entirely subjective list by Mat (freelance writer) and Tom (Laced community manager and blog editor.) It is not a “Best of the decade” because this is not an independent media site; that, and we haven’t listened to every track of the thousands of game soundtracks released over the 2010s.
